ASSAYA

The evidence corpus rendered as structure rather than a list — first the shape of what has been studied, then the places the literature has corrected itself.

Stratum one · the corpus

What has been studied

Every point is a facet — a modality, a delivery route, or a study design. Threads are studies: two facets are joined by however many papers carry both, so the heaviest thread here (Airborne / Non-Contact and Acoustic) is the corpus's centre of gravity, at 5,587 studies. All 22,858 studies contribute weight. None are drawn as points, because the corpus holds no study-to-study structure that would justify it.

Point size follows how many studies carry that facet; thread brightness follows how many carry both, on a curve so the long tail stays visible against the heaviest pairing. Threads only ever join different axes — two modalities co-occurring says little beyond multi-labelling, while modality against delivery or design is the research landscape itself. The corpus also defines a scale axis (molecular through experiential) that carries no assignments at all, so it is absent here rather than drawn dark.

Stratum two · self-correction

Where the literature answered itself

563 of 22,858 studies are joined to another study in this corpus by a bibliographic relation — 317 links in total. These are not citations: the reference graph is not harvested. They are corrections — comments answering papers, errata, updates, and 11 retracted papers. It is a small slice of the corpus and the only study-to-study structure in it.

Thread colour is the correction type and point colour is the study's modality, except for a retracted paper, which is marked on the point itself — a retraction read only from its thread would vanish the moment you looked at the paper alone. Point size follows how many corrections a study is involved in. Browse the full corpus at Studies.
